I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
